Terms of Service
Last updated: March 23, 2026
1. Nature of Service
FastPermitFiling / FastPermit Filing is a private third-party filing service and is NOT affiliated with the FMCSA, USDOT, or any state or federal government agency. We provide document preparation and filing assistance services to motor carriers for a fee. Government filing fees, where applicable, are collected separately and remitted to the appropriate state agency on your behalf.
2. Service Description
For the fees listed on our pricing page, we will:
- Collect your carrier, fleet, and USDOT information
- Determine the correct permits required for your operating states
- Prepare and submit your permit applications to the applicable state agencies (e.g., NY HUT, KYU, NM W&D, CT HUT, Oregon Weight-Mile, CA#/MCP, TxDMV, Ohio PUCO)
- Provide confirmation and credentials once the filing is processed
Our service fee covers filing assistance and expedited processing. Government registration fees are a separate line item and are passed through to the applicable state agency.
3. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate USDOT number, legal business name, EIN, fleet size, and contact information. FastPermitFiling is not liable for rejected filings, penalties, or compliance failures caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer.
4. Quarterly Reporting Add-On
If you purchase the quarterly reporting add-on, you authorize FastPermitFiling to prepare and submit your quarterly mileage and tax reports for applicable states. You are responsible for providing accurate mileage data by the quarterly deadline. You may cancel quarterly reporting at any time by emailing support@fastpermitfiling.com.
5. Processing Times
We aim for same-business-day processing for most permit types. However, we make no guarantee that the receiving state agency will process your application within any specific timeframe. Processing timelines depend on government systems outside our control. We are not liable for roadside enforcement actions that occur while a filing is pending.
6. Limitation of Liability
FastPermitFiling's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to fines, out-of-service orders, or lost revenue.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with AAA rules.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
