Refund Policy

Important: Once your permit registration has been submitted to the applicable state agency, the government filing fee is non-refundable. State agencies do not issue refunds for processed permit registrations.

1. After Filing - No Refund

Once your permit registration has been submitted to the applicable state agency (e.g., NY DTF, KY DOR, NM TRD, CT DRS, Oregon DOT, CA DMV/CHP, TxDMV, Ohio PUCO), no refund is available. This applies to both the government filing fee and the FastPermitFiling service fee. Permit registrations cannot be reversed or cancelled once submitted.

Please review your USDOT number, business information, and selected permits carefully before completing checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted.

2. Before Filing - Partial Refund

If you request a cancellation before your permit application has been submitted to the state agency, a refund will be issued for the full amount paid, minus a $15.00 processing fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.

To request a pre-filing cancellation, contact us immediately at support@fastpermitfiling.com with your order number and USDOT. We process most orders within 2 business hours, so time is critical.

3. Quarterly Reporting Add-On

Quarterly reporting subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next quarterly reporting period. Once a quarterly report has been submitted on your behalf, the standard post-filing no-refund policy applies for that quarter.

4. Incorrect State or Permit Type

If you selected an incorrect state or permit type, contact us before processing begins. If we have not yet submitted the filing, we can void the transaction and reprocess with the correct selection (subject to the $15 processing fee for the original transaction). If the filing has already been submitted, we cannot issue a refund, but can assist you with filing the correct permit as a new order.

5. Duplicate Orders

If you accidentally placed a duplicate order, contact us at support@fastpermitfiling.com immediately. If the duplicate has not been filed, we will refund it minus the $15 processing fee. If both were filed, only one registration is valid and a partial refund may be available at our discretion.

6. Money-Back Guarantee

If we are unable to successfully file your permit due to an error on our part, you will receive a full refund of both the service fee and any government fees we collected. This guarantee does not apply to rejections caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer or carrier ineligibility.

7. Processing Time for Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days depending on your card issuer.

8. Contact

Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@fastpermitfiling.com with your order ID and USDOT number. Phone requests cannot be processed.
